Happiness is part of the art film collection Human Frames that concentrates on psychological states such as Desire, Madness, Fanaticism, Fear, Anger, Isolation, Melancholy, Mono no aware and Impermanence. The Happiness programme presents eleven contemporary works from Asia and Europe that capture blissful moments through colour, laughter, dance, movement, and the wistful happiness that lies in memories of things past.

Lowave participates in Papier(s) - 2nd edition of Salon d’édition d’art et rencontres autour de l’édition en art contemporain. Organized by Réseau Art contemporain en Bretagne (ACB), the fair invites art centres, galleries, museums and publishers from the region of Brittany and beyond to sell books, catalogues, postcards, posters, multiples, and videos under special conditions. Lowave presents its DVD editions and notably Human Frames - Melancholy that will be screened during 3 days in the video lounge. We also participate in the round table discussion Vidéo – de l’éditeur au diffuseur, un circuit mouvant.

In April 2013, India celebrated 100 years of (its) cinemas. This plural needs to be stressed, especially because of the western world tendancy to hide the diversity of Indian industries behind the sole Mumbai’s Bollywood popular cinema. This international symposium will look at all of the different trends and styles which caracterize each industry set in a particular region, with a particular language.
Lowave's intervention takes place on Wednesday 13/11 at 5 pm.

Since 2011 Lowave has developed Human Frames, a moving images project on the human being and his temperaments, physical condition and the uniqueness of its body with its multiple expressions. Human Frames unfolds between Europe and Asia and takes one on a cinematic journey through the human senses that accompanies man throughout life. The viewers of Nuit Blanche are invited to be lost in these emotions for one night. This projection is a collaboration with La Perle, an eminent cult cafe in Paris, that brings Human Frames back to the city where it was invented.

For the first time in Paris, Human Frames will be presented at the Société de Curiosités on two evenings of the 27 and 28 September. The programme features an extraordinary lineup of artists and live performances including hybrids of film, dance, music and interventions.
