REINHART Kirkirerland HD 3

Kirkirerland / Austria / 2008 / 1’ / 4:3

The disaster of the present has become an irrevocable reality. Inspired by Arthur Rimbaud’s A Season in Hell, Patricia Reinhart investigates a mythological, nebulous scene, which takes place at the end of the earth near the domain of the dead. All of the female figures bear traces of the influence of the gestural qualities of silent movies and photographs from the nineteenth century.
